In July 2008, the Friends of the World Food Program invited Kelly as a US Delegate for the Friends of the World Food Program on a five day journey to remote villages in Nicaragua to observe UN World Food Programme field operations and to lend a hand.

In March 2009, Community Delegate for the Friends of the World Food Program (Friends of WFP) and founder of Music For Mankind® Kelly Moore, was invited by Friends of WFP as a US Delegate for the Friends of the World Food Program to join staffers and several other community coordinators for a five - day journey to the Andean Highlands in Peru to observe the United Nations World Food Programme’s (WFP) field operations of pilot programs of the UN Millennium Goals. Kelly took several hours of video while he and others took thousands of photographs. The following video is a short trailer of a documentary he will be producing about the trip.

Kelly Moore founded Music For Mankind® in 2007. Music For Mankind® "Silently Hoping" is his second video about his efforts with his benefit concert series, and includes new concert footage, impressive endorsments, new up-to-date information about Music For Mankind®, and music from his newest CD, "Silently Hoping".
Kelly produced the first video Music For Mankind® in 2007, an informational video about his work, music and foundation with footage from television interviews and live concert footage. It continues to air regularly on Dish Network, Community Access and college television stations throughout the Northeast.

The song, which is the title track of Kelly's new CD, was inspired by his trip to Nicaragua with the Friends of the World Food Program. In early 2009, Kelly's CD "Silently Hoping" climbed the World Music radio airplay charts to #37, and has been playing in ten countries.
