Kelly Moore’s Music for Mankind® builds awareness of global hunger among Americans and raises much-needed funds to help the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) feed those in need in the world’s poorest countries. His work comes at an exceedingly critical time, when rising food prices are pushing millions of people deeper into poverty and making food less accessible to many. WFP estimates that more than 920 million people are hungry today.
World Food Program USA (formerly Friends of The World Food Program) welcomes the enthusiasm of volunteers around our great nation, who are committed to helping the less fortunate and alleviating global hunger. Hunger is solvable. It costs only 25 cents to provide a healthy meal for a child in school and we hope other volunteers will follow Kelly Moore’s lead and help us make a difference!
