Kelly Moore To Dance For Charity

"Dancing With The Rutland Stars" benefit for Kids On The Move Rehabilitation in Rutland, Vermont

September 22, 2011

The founder of Music For Mankind® will take to the stage on October 8, 2011 at 7:00 PM at the Paramount Theatre in Rutland, Vermont for charity, this time with his feet.

The Friends of Kids On The Move and Rutland Health Foundation will present Dancing With The Rutland Stars, a fund-raiser to benefit Kids On The Move Pediatric Rehabilitation Program of Rutland, Vermont.

Dancing with the Rutland StarsModeled after the highly successful TV show, Dancing with the Rutland Stars pairs professional dancers with local celebrities. The competition will be hot and commentary even hotter with WJJR's Terry Jaye and Judy Anderson serving as emcees. A panel of local celebrity judges will be evaluating the dancers and will select a winning pair, but the biggest winner will be Kids on the Move.

"We are honored to have a performer of Kelly Moore's caliber join us for Dancing with the Rutland Stars," stated Bernadette Robin, Director, Annual Giving and Special Events of Rutland Health Foundation. "Kelly's depth of experience and talent are outstanding. The competition is going to be intense and we're sure Kelly will be a standout!"

Kelly Moore and Nicole Fabian"I'm very excited to be a part of this extraordinary event and to have the possibility of helping in yet another way", exclaimed Kelly. "While this is outside of the normal box for the events I have been doing, it offers me a way to partner with an incredible organization to continue to help the children."

"And," he continued, "I am really enjoying the time to just dance. My partner, Nicole Fabian, Manager of People's United Bank in Rutland, Vermont, is a delighful partner and dancer, and we are simply  having a blast preparing together for this competition. Here's a hint, we're going to do a 'saucy' little merengue number!"

"Kelly and Nicole have great chemistry," added Bernadette. "They both love to dance and it shows! Both our professional, Kelly and our Rutland Star, Nicole have raised the bar on the level of talent in our competition."

Included in this event is the Dancing with the Rutland Stars People's Choice Award. You can vote for Kelly and Nicole by going to Dancing With The Rutland Stars and click on the Vote page link on the left hand side. The voting will begin after September 23. As this is not a live broadcast, voting must be completed by October 8.
