In June, Kelly Moore sangThe Star Spangled Banner for the Vermont Lake Monsters game against the Connecticut Tigers. You can see a video of it here.
Music For Mankind® and the Vermont Lake Monsters also teamed up for that game to raise funds for The World Food Program USA and the Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf.
Coming up this month, Kelly will be singing our National Anthem on Wednesday August 10 for the Tri City ValleyCats of Troy, New York, on Thursday August 11 for the Pittsfield Colonials of Pittsfield, Massachussets, and then again on Sunday August 28 for a return trip to the Vermont Lake Monsters in Burlington, Vermont.
The Tri City ValleyCats are the Single A affiliate of the Houston Astros, and are in the New York-Penn League with the Vermont Lake Monsters and eleven other teams. Their ballpark is located at 80 Vandenberg Avenue, Troy, NY. Game time is 7:00 PM.
The Pittsfield Colonials are one of eight teams in the independant Canadian American (CanAm) League. Their ballpark is located at 2 South Street, Pittsfield, MA. Game time is 7:00 PM.
The Vermont Lake Monsters are the Single-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics, playing in the New York-Penn League. Their stadium is located at 287 Colchester Ave., Burlington, VT. Game time is 7:05 PM
