Film: Nicaragua on the Ground
This 29-minute film documents Kelly Moore's seven-day trip to the mountains of Nicaragua, where he witnessed first-hand the vast poverty of this country and its contrasts in beauty. While on the trip, he was able to observe the successes of the Friends of the World's School Feeding Program, and meet the children who benefit from the program. Nicaragua – On the Ground also includes interviews with Karen Sendelback, President/CEO of Friends of the World Food Program, and Margot Hoerrner, Vice-President, Outreach, Friends of the World. Proceeds from the DVD will go to the UN World Food Program – Nicaragua.
Kelly Moore is also founder of Music for Mankind®, a series of benefit concerts featuring Kelly Moore & Emerald Dreams, whose proceeds are contributed to the Friends of the World Food Program and other national and local humanitarian organizations.
