"Silently Hoping"

Silently Hoping"Silently Hoping" is the newest CD release from Kelly Moore. A delightful and powerful mix of Folk, Folk/Rock and Contemporary Celtic with six originals. Both the title track, "Silently Hoping" and "Hope" were borne of his experiences with the Friends of the World Food Program trip to Nicaragua in July 2008 to observe WFP field operations. In early 2009, "Silently Hoping" climbed the World Music radio airplay charts to #37, and has been playing in ten countries.

Thank you so much for the marvelous presentations you gave on Friday. It was great to watch the students as they listened to you and watched the DVDs. I certainly enjoyed the presentation. You painted a vivid picture of the journey and people you met in Nicaragua. Then the DVD backed up everything you said with heart wrenching pictures. It really means much more to see these types of images when the person who experienced them is doing the presentation. As you said in your opening statement, we see all types of starving children on TV. But it really means much more when you see it yourself. So vicariously we were on the journey with you, giving the experience more
immediate impact.
