To Book Kelly Moore:
For over three decades, Kelly Moore has been involved with music, evolving into an accomplished composer, singer and guitarist, performing an eclectic mix of Folk/Pop/Rock music. His powerful, yet humbling songwriting has turned many heads and captivated audiences through his impeccable live performances and recordings. However, his accomplishments pale in comparison to the sharing person he has always been, and how he is able to use his songwriting talents to reach those in need. He is more than a musician; he is a messenger of good will.
In 2007 Kelly founded the Music For Mankind® benefit concert series, with proceeds being contributed to the United Nations World Food Program and other humanitarian organizations for disaster relief locally and globally. Since then he started the Music For Mankind® Community Charity Drive to raise food for the Manchester Community Food Cupboard, and founded Music For Mankind, Inc., a 501(c)(3) public charity non profit organization dedicated to continuing his efforts to raise awareness about global hunger and to perform benefit concerts and contribute the proceeds to humanitarian organizations.
In 2008 Kelly began speaking locally and regionally to groups, corporations and schools about Music For Mankind® and is available for speaking engagements. His presentations are dynamic, heartfelt and passionate.
In his 60 minute presentation, entitled, “Music For Mankind® - How Can We Help?”, Kelly discusses the issues of global hunger, disaster relief, and how Music For Mankind® benefit concerts and Music For Mankind, Inc. is helping with contributions from his events to the UN World Food Program and other humanitarian organizations. Mr. Moore also discusses his travels as a US Delegate for the WFP USA (formerly Friends of the World Food Program) to Nicaragua and Peru. For your event he can also include 2 - 3 short videos on DVD or present his 29 minute documentary, "Nicaragua - On The Ground" which was released in July 2009, documenting Kelly's seven day trip to the mountains of Nicaragua in July 2008. The program includes a Question and Answer session. Copies of the documentary DVD are available for purchase after the event. Proceeds of the DVD are contributed to the United Nations World Food Program - Nicaragua.
Your audience will walk away with a deeper appreciation of the issues of global hunger, disaster relief, and a heartfelt desire to come together as a community to make a difference.
“If everyone in the community brings just one brick, together we can build a foundation.”
– Kelly Moore
Thank you very much for your presentation and the inspiration of your work. The students thoroughly enjoyed hearing your stories and, being an international audience, certainly felt that your initiatives addressed many issues people in their home countries face daily.
I think that bringing these facts to the table is essential, but to actively do something to bring about change is what is needed most. The majority of people are too focused on making their own ends meet and therefore tend not to reach out. Thank you for breaking that cycle and for inspiring others to do the same.
--Anja Pfeffer, Director, International Club, Mount Anthony Union High School, Bennington, VT

“Kelly captivated our audience while sharing his personal experiences, statistics regarding hunger, and the need for people to help. He was able to reach students from kindergarten to eighth grade with his enthusiastic and compassionate personality. With the help of Kelly, our school was able to focus on helping others.”
